"An art exhibition showcasing the role of the river Thames as a major source of creative inspiration in Kingston from the 17th century to the present - a history that involves Turner and the Pre-Raphaelites.

Delving into the wealth of river views in Kingston Museum's permanent collection, and featuring a selection of contemporary works by artist Lyndsay Russell, the show explores the artistic fascination with the idea of being 'upon Thames' and reflects the changing character of Kingston's riverside."

Launching during Totally Thames, the exhibition will remain on view until April 2024

Opening days: Thursday-Saturday

Address: Kingston Museum, Wheatfield Way, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2PS
